Welcome to my Gap Year blog! I thought it would be easier to share my experiences on one page, so if your interested i will try and update reasonably frequently as long as i have done something of interest.
Im going to be based in Palmerston North Boys High School in Palmerston North for those who dont know the town its on the North Island about 2 hours outside of Wellington. Search it in google and you can see what it looks like. I will be staying in their boarding house known as College or Murray House and generally helping the sports coordinator during the day. The boarding house has about 160 students from year 9 to 13, so i will have a lot of names to remember. I am the only Gappy until february when another Gappy, i think from England, will join me which will make it more interesting, although Chris Sewell (a friend from Gordons who is doing a Gap Year like me as well) is at Fielding High about 20 minutes away so im sure we will be meeting up.
I leave on the 26th of August from Heathrow at 9.10pm and wont arrive in Auckland until the 28th! Please leave some messages on the message board if you want. Until my first entry....
