Fall has now well and truly fallen here. There was a sharp change in the weather a few days ago, and now we’ve having overcast, rainy days more or less non-stop. The trees look spectacular with their golden foliage when the sun does come out, but already a cool wind has started picking up from the east and blowing the dead leaves off. The trees that turn red seem to go first, but the ones that turn yellow and orange aren’t too far behind. ...
