Day 89 - After eating a sausage roll and a vanilla slice on the beautiful beach we waited for the Happy Coach. Half an hour late Fred, his pitbull Diesel, and the rainbow coloured bus pulled up and a crazy day began! While picking up others we got to hear Fred's great jokes (like the no eye dear one David) and hear him singing along throughout the journey to some great high volume songs. As we veered round corners at full speed Diesel found safety nestled on Olivia's lap! After a stop at Minyon Falls and a stop at a pub we drove though the hills and into Nimbin. The town was full of psychedelic coloured shops and cafes and we visited the totally random Nimbin Museum and the Hemp Embassy as well as the Sunday market with live band. Down by the pool Fred had cooked us up loads of BBQ sausages which we ate up before braving the drive back. Nimbin may be the most random place on our tour so far but also one of the friendliest - but how couldn't it be with all the resident hippies and their brownies being offered round freely, even when the Police cruised through.
