Kho Phi Phi
Another early start to set sail to Kho Phi Phi from Krabi, just one hours ferry crossing along some very nice scenery to the island. Upon our arrival we got a big shock on how small the populated part of the island was, there are no forms of transport apart from bicycle and man pulled carts. Once off the ferry we started our walk to the accommodation on the other side of the island which took us about ten minuets through the tiny streets.
After we got settled in it was time for some exploring, the closest beach was the first destination which was quite busy with tourists sun bathing and enjoying the nice blue water, we then ventured through the town to the harbour side were lots of large diving boats and day trip boats were docked. The island seemed very touristy but very chilled and everyone is very friendly, along our dander we meet a few people we'd befriended on Kho Phangan so we decided to go for a few drinks with them and check out the popular beach party we'd heard about.
The following day a trek to a near by view point was our plan, this consisted of about 300 steps and a half hour walk up the side of a mountain but as you can see from the pics it was well worth the hassle. As a reward for our hard work we treated ourselves to a diving trip for the next day. This was assume with amazing views from two dives, the highlight being two large Cuttle fish swimming about a meter from us, the other groups of divers saw two lepard sharks but unfortunately we weren't so lucky.
Really nice destination but was time to hit the mad night life of Phuket. A lot of other people we've met haven't seemed to found of Phuket but I don't think there's much we couldn't enjoy in Thailand.
