From Bangkok To LA

Kanchanaburi, Thailand

Monday, 1 May 2006

Well, weve been doing a hell of a lot over the last few days!!
We arrived in Kanchanaburi on the 1st of May, we had to get a suppusedly "air con" bus here!!
We went to where we were staying which was a raft house, so everytime a boat went passed you could really feel it because the whole thing moved!!
We got speedboats all over the place, we went to a war museum, saw the death railway, saw the cool elephant, and the bridge on the river kwai.
On the 2nd, we had to get up really early as we were doing loads, we were driving down the road and there were loads of little monkeys running around, we fed them mangos and they just took it out of our hands!
We went and saw the death railway again, and then we went to a national park called Erawan Falls. It was a waterfall with 7 different levels!we went swimming in the water, it was so refreshing and there were loads of fish, they kept nibbling us, it felt so weird and horrible. We then trekked up to see the very top and it was pretty amazing!!
After all the hard work we went to a tiger sanctuary and we got to stroke them and have photos with them !Frank had his photos on another camera but he thinks he lost it when drunk!Hopefully we will find it
When we came back, we went for a beer and everyone else had the same idea!we all ended up gettin battered, and its so cheap and we were a bit dehydrated so i think it was the cheapest night ever!We were in a bar where they had pool, Frank was pretty good, and I was awful, to drunk to see the ball and i lost every game-opps!
Feel rough today, unfortunately weve spent all day on hot buses!not the best thing for a hangover!
Anyway take care speak soon
