Ok, again this will be a relatively short entry, at least for now as the weather has been fairly consistent since I arrived here - HOT, HOT, HOT, HOT!!
It has been consistently around 30 - 32 degrees in the daytime and the evenings not much cooler at around 27 degrees. To be honest the heat hasn’t been the problem, it’s the humidity that has made it unbearable, sometimes getting into the 90%’s.
I had air conditioning put in the apartment the first week in August which was a huge relief as I could at least then escape the heat when I’m at home!!
From time to time we have had really heavy rainfall and strong winds that rattle the windows! This sometimes lasted for a few days at a time, but thankfully now the rainy season seems to have ended so we shouldn’t get much rain now!
Also thankfully, the temperature has started to drop off a bit and the humidity levels too. At the moment its still pretty hot, but definitely much more bearable!
Vaniel We would have sell it if we could. But nobody watend a bare hull, with delaminated deck, no gears and broken mast. We even try to give it away with no success, all the gears are going into the new boat. We also watend the lead as it was suppose to be, but it end up being Cast Iron.
