So, not much has been going on in Ko Samet. We've just been relaxing on the beach, eating delicious BBQ kabobs, sleeping, and watching movies. This is my favorite island so far. We're staying in a national park, so it's cleaner here than most places. There are actually garbage cans. There are less people and good food and interesting creatures, like tiny little sand crabs that endlessly build tiny balls of sand all day long and the people here are nice. We saw a dead puffer fish the size of an American football washed up on the beach the other night with a clear sac coming out it's mouth (which my sister informed me was it's stomach which probably meant it was cought by fisherman). We also played with sea cucumers which were huge and really cool. Other than a leg wax more painful than anything I've ever experienced (they pour hot wax on your legs, which promptly dries and they rip off in small pulls - and poor Beth was covered in open mosquito bites), that's about it. It's back to Bangkok tomorrow to collect our Chinese visas and spend the Buddhist New Year in the city for the water-fest.
