So another country, new currency and what an amazing city. We've had 2 days here and have loved it. Obviously the Twin Towers have been the highlight and feature in hundreds of our photos- Katie's got a bit carried away! The skyline is incredible and we went up the KL Tower which is the 4th highest telecommunications tower in the world. Unfortunatly we are on a backpackers budget because underneath the towers is a huge shopping mall with everything from Gucci to Topshop (we managed to stretch to a McDonalds!) We're staying in Chinatown which is filled with street stalls and dodgy accomodation- our first night was in a concrete prison cell room which Katie hated, we moved the next morning! A big treat for us was a night at the Skybar. Its in an amazing location high above the city and has a swimming pool right through the middle! Delicious cocktails, a great atmosphere and incredible views made us soon forget our dodgy guesthouse! It was definatly a highlight of our trip so far.
