We have beach front real estate in the form of our own private bungalow metres from the sea. We are staying in a quiet part of Koh Phangan and shouldnt of worried leaving Koh Tao as its just as stunning here. Heather and Ben met us a few days ago and we hired a jeep to explore the island, which we struggled to get out of first gear up the mountain roads! Other then a bit of exploring we havent done a whole lot as we were saving ourselves for the Full Moon Party. The night started at our bungalows with a few beers and a pot of iluminous paint to get us in the mood! Arriving at Haad Rin was manic, we were four of thousands of partygoers hitting the beach. The huge stretch of beach was absolutly crammed right into the sea with bars, fire shows and bucket stalls. Luckily none of us needed the sleep zone or the medical tent and we all made it to sunrise, having put away many buckets and taken a few dodgy pics to tell the tale! Not surprisingly the next day was a write off however we managed to make the ferry to Koh Samui where we have 2 nights before flying to Malaysia. Its been great with Heather and Ben and we will miss their company and the good dinners the've treated us too especially Grahams long awaited steak! Thanks guys!
