Exactly one month from now (July 23) I will be doing just this- leaving Colorado, my safe harbor, and beginning my semester abroad in Peru with SIT. This will be, by far, the longest amount of time I have spent outside of the States and although I will miss my family and friends (and, extremely unfortunately, Thanksgiving... :) ) I am looking forward to the experience! I can't wait to get out of my comfort zone, try new things and really experience a different culture first-hand and to a greater degree than I ever have before.
This is a log of my adventures, big and small. From cultural quirks that catch me off-guard, as I know they will, to interesting foods to experiencing the splendor of Machu Picchu.
