Day 31 & 32 - 13 & 14 August Tucson to Bisbee Arizona

Douglas Border Crossing

The border crossing from Tucson is about 3 hours and goes through Tombstone. I was going to stop but wanted to checkout the border crossing. I dropped some gear off at a hotel in Bisbee, and headed down 48km to Douglas. The crossing was a lot smaller than I thought. I then headed to the local insurance agent to obtain moto coverage for Mexico.

Bisbee is a very artsy hippy type of town, if that makes any sense, and had some great micro breweries.

Headed down to Tombstone to check out Wyatt Earp country and the OK Coral. There are a lot of shops lining the streets but they have generly kept the origanal shops fronts and bars to keep the Wild West feel of the town.
