The corresponding picture is what Lake Wanaka is supposed to look like. Currently I am looking over the lake from our hostel over a large settling of fog, rain and mist! Hooray! Our first entry from New Zealand! Much has happened since our arrival in Auckland! We met Kate at the airport, which was an awesome reunion, and took the shuttle to our hostel. After a good catch up, we were pretty exhausted so bed time... on the second day we got a knock at our door and it was Ben and Rox :D who had just finished their kiwi experience, so we went out to celebrate our reunion and the end of their NZ trip. Our last day in Oz! It's gone so so fast. After Noosa we travelled down to Surfer's Paradise for a night...uneventful and very hyped up we thought! It was so weird to see all the skyscrapers and the massive buildings after the little seaside towns we've been visiting. After a boring night in an out-of-the-way hostel there, (very unfriendly staff and a bad atmosphere) we paid a ridiculous amount to travel 2 km with our bags to get the greyho...
