G'day! We are, after a long two flights, finally in Cairns, Queensland! It is torrential rain you will all be delighted to hear...we have only caught a fleeting glimpse of the mountains. We walked downstairs in the hostel this morning to a foot of water...someone had ironically place a submerged ''caution- wet floor'' sign in it. However, we feel quite at home and being in a house finally is lovely. We were picked up from the hostel this aft...
