We had a rough start. We got stuck in the mud for almost a whole day, but finally we were on the road excited to start our trip to 'the south'.
Our first stop - Shenandoah national park. We found a friendly campground - The country Waye - in Luray, VA. Very close to the caverns and not so far from the park. It has the convenience of feeling out in the woods, but actually 10 minutes from a WAL-MART...

Since the wether was rainy, we decide to explore the caverns area, and we are happy we did. These are amazing! and if you have kids, there is a maze from live plants right outside the caverns.
