So glad to be back in the main Tokyo Area after a day of rushing. Walked along the crowded streets looking for a place for a quiet dinner together in Japan, we chanced upon a small old school cart selling guess what ? Takoyaki !! Our favourite. Got to try those from Japan. Their Takoyaki is totally different from Singapore's. Even though I think that dAr DaR prefers the plain Singapore ones, I think that the addition of the seaweed flakes add to the total Oishii factor !! Too bad I can wrap the person making the Takos home.
After the satisfying Tako, we chanced upon a ramen shop which looks good and decided to give it a try. The restaurant is full house and we have to wait outside for quite a while before we have a seat. The interesting thing about this restaurant is that they have a LCD TV right in front of your seat for you to watch while waiting for your food to be served. Something like QB house in Singapore. (By the way, I think QB house also comes from Japan)

dAr ordered soy sauce soup-based ramen and I ordered the pork bone soup-based ramen. The ramen in Japan is so much different from those eaten at Ajisen Ramen. This is simplier, no fancy menus, they only have a piece of char siew and some bamboo shoots which surprisingly taste good. dAr DaR also says quite good. heehee. We also ordered Gyoza !! Nice !! By the time we're done its already 10pm Japan Time so we headed back. Wait...dAr DaR still shopping ?? dAr saw a pretty umbrella there and bought it. See her smile while holding her war treasure. Oh my, everything in Japan is cute.
