If you are still in Bangkok - or returning- you must visit Cabbages & Condoms Restaurant. Quite an experience.

We were recently in Penang too and stayed at 75 Traveller's Lodge! Just reading your blog made us laugh as we had the same thing with the little mouse and the owner's lack of concern! Didn't know it was called Ben though haha.
