WIth 4 weeks in Nepal - Kathmandu, Chitwan and Pokhara for starters... then onward to Nagarkot. Then 4 months travelling around India, via New Delhi through to Trivandrum (Kerala) in the Very South, working our way north away from the impending monsoons via Varkala, Kovalam, Cochi, via Munnar, Bangalore, Hampi, then Bijapur, Hyderabad and through to Varanasi and onwards..... to Agra and other wild places! We expect stunning, colourful scenery, vibrant bustling cities, diverse cultures, awe-inspiring temples and iconic landmarks, crazy train and bus journeys and as always great food. We will post the best photos every few days and summarise our journey in a blog post weekly (usually on a Thursday).
Please keep the messages coming - it makes everyone seem so much nearer! Message board for public messages and email tab if you want to send a private message or get a reply.

re: Jodhpur and a lot of rantingYusup , all the techniques in wet shinavg apply. You should shave in the shower, or right after you come out of it. Your skin should be clean prior to shinavg. One trick is that this shaver works better if your shinavg gel/foam/cream is light or not dense . Lather up too much or a very dense cream can make the foil/blade hot during operation. (Thick cream will cause more friction and blade moves pretty fast.) Last, don't forget a splash of cold water to seal in and a good aftershave. 4.DO NOT press the shaver, or foil against your skin. You will only get irritation out of it. The trick is to shave everyday, go against the grain, let it GLIDE SLOWLY on your skin, rinse it whenever you feel there is too much foam in the shaver, use trimmer to take out long stubborn hair like those on the neck, and under the chin. DONE. Thank you for reading my review. re: Eastern Himalayas from NagarkotMore Yes, I think it's mostly for pesarnol enjoyment. If you had couple billion dollars in the bank, you would probably go on a space joy ride too, wouldn't you?But in all, this might actually help too for future space travelers. (It's gotta start somewhere right?)

re: Bangalore, IndiaUgo I think its an existing fear. I have never felt happy liinvg in the same place for more than a few months/years and being stuck in university has only been made easier by the fact that I get to go home to Bristol or to stay with friends around the country on weekends/holidays etc.I'm not the sort of person to plant roots. Everytime I settle somewhere I love it for a bit then im ready to move on. Ive never been in a long term relationship quite frankly, I find them a bit monotonous. lol. I mean, seriously, how many times can you wake up with, go to work and come home to the same person, watch the same crap, eat the same crap, go to bed and do it all over again lol. More importantly, I think being alone means you dont have to be accountable for someone else. You dont have to be responsible for anyones feelings but your own. You dont have to comprimise or consult with someone else when you make decisions, whether they are well thought out or impulsive. And maybe some would say its selfish but then again relationships are optional right?I can understand you struggling with having a base. With uni coming to an end, I came to the conclusion that I never want to be tied down to anything ever again. These last 7 weeks of uni are a stretch coz its a chapter im so ready to close. To me, its suffocating. Its def. gonna be my vietnam oh the flash backs lolI do think its possible to have your cake and eat too. Im not sure who the jack*ss is who said it wasnt, but if I ever come across him, i'll be having words.Everyone always says leave on a high. I say ride the wave until it stops.I type like i think/say it so can only hope that makes sense lol
re: Nagarkot, NepalSoo A few years ago because of the load shdiedng we had qite a few burglaries in the neighbourhood and as we know the government security system is quite bad so people in my neighbourhood came together to install alarms in everyones homes so if an emmergency occurs or we see some strange activities we could ring it and from each home at lease one person had to come for help and it worked ...i think we caught 2 burglars in the neighbourhood in just a week if i remember correctly thanks to our neighbourhood community its now very safe to walk around even in the late hours...

re: Pokhara, NepalSumaira I want to go to the rally so badly. My birthday is March 24th, and I can't ignaime a better way to spend the day. If anyone has room in their carpool from Los Angeles I'd happily pitch in for gas and splits on a hotel. This trip would break me, but I have to be there.

Don't give him a job out of pity. Don't pay him extra if you hire him just because he reminds you of you. If you can get detached, and want to hire him because he'll add something to your team, do it. Otherwise don't. If you don't hire him, its ok to keep in touch with him. If you allow yourself to be forced to comprise professionally and hire him, you'll be hurting him, yourself and the project. Maybe he'll get a chance to come and work with you later on as well Life is funny, and his story may not necessarily be your story.If you can't make a detached decision, let it go.
