Hi,
Since last blog update I have travelled through Ecuador and most of Peru and am now heading to Cusco and Machu Picchu.
Ecuador was unbelievably beautiful and inspite of a few hold ups due to ‘revolting peasents’ blocking the roads, setting fire to the buses and preventing anyone leaving the city all went well.
Peru however is proving to be hard to beat and the Andes here have produced the highest, wildest, scariest roads so far. I haven’t seen asphalt for a month and at 13000 feet up, and no crash barriers I’ve had a few heart stopping moments but the scenery is breathtaking. The bluest lakes and the most colourful mountains I’ve ever seen. The photos still strugggle to show just how incredible it all is.
All going well and still loving the journey..
